Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Revelio and your purchase of a personalized digital voucher experience.

1. The service

Revelio lets you create a private webpage containing a countdown, message, and digital voucher or gift description. At the selected time, the hidden content is revealed. Revelio creates the presentation and delivery experience; it does not provide or issue the restaurant booking, hotel stay, ticket, merchant gift card, or other underlying gift.

2. Eligibility and acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to purchase the service. By using Revelio or completing payment, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

3. Price and payment

The price shown at checkout is a one-time charge for the voucher experience you create. Payment is processed by Stripe. Applicable taxes, if any, will be shown or included as required. A purchase is complete only after payment is confirmed.

4. Your responsibility before payment

Review names, email addresses, message, reveal date and time, validity information, and uploaded content carefully. The reveal settings and content may not be editable after payment. Countdown behavior depends on the date, time, device, and time-zone information supplied to the service.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of content you provide. You give Revelio a limited permission to store, reproduce, format, and display that content only as needed to provide and support your voucher.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload or write. You must not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, deceptive, infringing, malicious, or that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.

6. Private links

Voucher links are randomly generated and are intended to be shared privately, but they are not passwords. You are responsible for sending the link to the correct person and for protecting it from unwanted sharing. Revelio is not responsible for access caused by someone forwarding or exposing the link.

7. The underlying gift

You are responsible for purchasing, funding, booking, and honoring the gift described in your voucher. Any merchant terms, expiry date, cancellation rule, availability limit, or redemption condition applies independently. Revelio is not a party to arrangements between you, the recipient, and any merchant.

8. Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the service, bypass rate limits, automate abusive requests, probe for private vouchers, send spam, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, or use Revelio for fraud or unlawful activity. We may block requests or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect the service or others.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Revelio available and voucher reveals timely, but internet, hosting, email, browser, and device failures can occur. We may maintain, update, suspend, or discontinue features. If a technical failure prevents delivery of a paid voucher, the Refund Policy explains available remedies.

10. Disclaimers and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, Revelio is provided “as is” and without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Revelio is not liable for the value, quality, availability, legality, redemption, or performance of the underlying gift or merchant.

To the extent permitted by law, Revelio’s total liability arising from a paid voucher will not exceed the amount you paid for that voucher. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. These limits do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes and severability

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version and effective date. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
